Questions

Can you take over from my current accountant?

Yes. We send a professional clearance letter and collect your records, so you don't have to have an awkward conversation.

Does Making Tax Digital apply to me?

Since April 2026, sole traders and landlords with income over £50,000 send HMRC quarterly updates through software. The threshold drops to £30,000 in April 2027. We'll tell you when it applies to you, and set it up.

Do I have to use accounting software?

Not always. We'll suggest software if it saves you time or if Making Tax Digital needs it, and we'll set it up for you.

Do you charge for phone calls and emails?

No. Questions are included in your monthly fee, however many you have.
